This is a fine example of taking it to another level. Sad thing is that of all the volunteers we have this is one of the few exceptions to the norm.

We need more exceptions.

I quite simply prefer to hug as to dancing.

Sherry, I was one of the seven Web Campus viewers who accepted Christ on Easter Sunday! What a joy it has been since I began watching New Spring services via the web. Perry is an awesome teacher.

I agree with you that the people who make NS happen are the people who ‘meet and greet’. There are so many that a ‘Dan’ has time to introduce himself and show folks around the church prior to services. I’m living in Los Angeles now, but am still a member at NS. When I’m able to go back, I still meet and greet. It’s the best ‘church’ in America!

Sherry i have to comment on this one… My kids went to Varennes up until this school year. My oldest (now an 8th grader) was there all 6 years and my two younger a combination of 4 years. We moved schools out of conflict with the uniforms (which i see in the pictures didnt take off) and the new year round schedule (loved the old yr round) anywho. Those kids …each and every one i met over the years… only want to be loved. It is amazing to watch their faces light up when a parent shows up in the room and speaks to them. nothing big, just attention from someone not in charge. My heart is at that school! When i begin student teaching next year that is where i want to be. i have already chatted with Dr Paul about it. just because a family (and i include my own, as i said thats where my kids are zoned for) doesnt have money doesnt mean they dont need love and attention. Most arent looking for handouts… just acknowledgement. Love and patients goes a LONG way, yet so many seem to think “im better than you and if i hung out you would just want money (or insert any material thing here) from me. Thank you Newspring for not caring about someones financial standing and loving ALL equally! ok my rant is officially over now! Thanks again for just showing love to all…not just those who enter the doors of the church.
