In planning the last service of the year we would love to have your feedback on a couple of things. Here they are…
- What’s your most memorable moment at NewSpring for the year 2007? Just a paragraph or two about the moment and why it was so special would be great.
- What is your favorite song that we sing or that has been performed here at NewSpring? I can already see “Friends in low places” coming in first place. HA!
You can easily post a comment here or e-mail sherry.moorhead@newspring.cc to share your thoughts. Every vote counts!
I look forward to hearing from all of you and celebrating 2007 together.

I LOVED THE SONG BRING ME TO LIFE WITH THE VIDEO PLAYING BEHIND IT.
I was blown away by “Rock Star” with the video. But I already voted for this on Perry’s Blog.
Memorable Moments:
Public – Seeing people write the names of their lost family, friends and associates on the walls of the church.
Private – Looking out the church’s 2nd floor window and watching the masses come into God’s House to worship.
Song – “You are so beautiful” – not sure of title.
For me it was when the band played “Where the streets have no name” while the video ran showing many of the
people whose lives have been changed.
Wow…there are so many great “moments”! How do I narrow it down to just one…Well I can’t
I will never forget the first message in the Cars series when Perry used the illistration of beating up a volvo to show how we mess up our lives on our own and how God turns us into new “Ferrari’s” when we accept Him. A great illistaration unlike I’ve ever seen before.
And there was the time when I stood in awe at the number of names being written on the walls.
I’ll also never forget the Unleashed Conference. Watching all those Pastors as they stood while others layed hands on them and prayed. And when the Newspring staff came onstage and stood around Perry, praying and laying hands on him. It was one of those moments that’s hard to desribe and just had to be experienced.
Okay..songs. Again there are several but I realy like Rain Down. And of couse Jack singing I Want To Thank You Lord. That was great!
Hey Sherry,
Don’t know if you remember me but I visited there in the Spring to observe NewSpring, especially the children’s ministry. NewSpring is very memorable but one of the things that I have to say makes it so memorable is your hospitality to visitors. Hope all is well.

Who knew Majestic Greeters were such “BLOGGERS”??……..LOL
MJ’s ROCK!!!!!!!!!!
Favorite songs are Broadcast and The Noise We Make (with the trash cans of course). Both get me pumped up everytime the band plays them.
I think the greatest moment of 2007 was on October 9th, Tailgating for Jesus!!! I personally witnessed the baptism of my daughter, my parents and many friends. What an absolutely perfect day that was.
I believe the most memorable moment for me was the whole Hell No! service. It was awesome and it opened my eyes up and made me realize how real hell is. From the fire on stage to Perry being brought on stage in a coffin the entire service was amazing.
My Favourite moment and song come together…being able to serve at Summer Blockbuster and hearing Rodeo – Four Dance Episodes: IV. Hoedown by Aaron Copland, seeing the kids excitement for Jesus…awesome.
Hey Sherry!
Favorite personal moment was being baptised with my wife on 2-25-07….
Favorite public moment was watching our church cover the walls with names of people they want to know Jesus…
Favorite Songs:
Jack and RA doing “I Want to Thank You Lord”
The Trash Can Band doing “This Is The Noise We Make”
Wow.. hard choices.. Lots of great memories and lots of awesome songs!!
My favorite song that the band does is the one that Lee and Jon do together. I can’t think of the name of it and I am not really sure they did it this year… but it is the most awesome and the two of them singing together is great! I also like “Jesus Paid it All” “FIre Fall Down”, “Amazing Grace (My Chains are Gone)” and the songs from the Gauntlet- Glorious One and Broadcast..
As far as moments… Every day in the nursery for me is an unforgetable moment.(I love my babies!) And I had the privilage of going on the Gaunlet this summer. WOW! The kids were so evidently in love with Christ! And at Pulse! to watch that many kids get up and accept Christ (270 I believe) then to watch more than half of them that were left get on their face in front of the Lord still puts tears in my eyes!!
Thank you New Spring (staff and volunteers) for the things you do for our youth!!! What a glorious year it has been!!
Favorite moments include watching the children’s faces light up when they saw themselves on screen during Summer Blockbuster, the bed breaking during Summer Blockbuster and the prayer for the senior pastors at the afternoon session of Unleash.
Favorite song is The Noise We Make with the trashcans.
Thanks!
Beth
Oh, we loved it when the DJ from Pulse played that Sunday morning! We love all types of Christian music but really love Christian R&B, hip-hop, and Rap! Love to see more of it.
