Wow! Sunday was one of the best services we’ve ever had here at NewSpring. It’s so cool to look back at where we’ve been and see how far God has brought us. We have the best leader in the world! Thank you, Perry. You can tell everyone was pumped up about the service from the very beginning. The excitement and anticipation was so thick. Seeing testimonies of life change through NewSpring is such a powerful reminder of the ministry we are all doing here. Then to end it all with walking down and placing our commitment on the stage was breathtaking. I saw volunteers that I’ve had the pleasure to serve with for several years walking down with a smile on their face to place their pledge on the stage. Then I saw one family walk down to the stage, with dad holding the commitment in his hand, kneeling down and praying together. Dad got on one knee with his arm wrapped around his wife and their daughter stood by her mom with their arms locked. They prayed for a few minutes then placed their commitment on the stage. Wow, I lost it. Obedience was so evident in the lives of those walking down. Thank you for stepping up and leading the way. Line to the stage

Since coming to NewSpring two years and half years ago, I’ve witnessed nothing but life change and it’s one of those things that NEVER gets old. I was a senior in high school and wasn’t living for Christ, but all it took was someone inviting me to FUSE and I began to walk with Jesus.
The youth leaders made such a profound impact on my life and it was at that time God started to really lay youth ministry on my heart. I had never pictured myself being involved in youth ministry, in fact, if you would have spoken to me three years ago and told me I’d become an IGNITE volunteer I would have laughed in your face. It just didn’t make sense.
It’s been two years and I’m still involved with IGNITE. I love it! Seeing those kids jump up and down during worship PUMPS me up! They have such amazing passion for Christ. I didn’t realize just how much impact I have until I spoke with one of the parents of a girl in my small group. Her words were such an encouragement and it came at a time when I needed God’s reassurance of whether or not IGNITE was where He wanted me.
I’d say to anyone who isn’t volunteering to get involved. God will use you in such amazing ways.
Wow! Obedience being required even though it requires sacrifice is amazing. God really dealt with me about my commitment and when I obeyed (even though I was a little afraid–honestly) it was amazing how free and great I felt. God is so good! Getting involved volunteering at NewSpring has been THE best thing that I have done since coming to church. I LOVE home groups, but the joy I get from getting to serve others in the name of Jesus is AWESOME!! It cannot be beat! Thanks Sherry & Sydney (and now Suzanne) for all you do to help us through this process! You Rock!
I wasn’t sure about my commitment until the last minute, I had prayed for God’s guidence but still hadn’t gotten anything until almost the end of service. And then in a voice so clear that I asked my wife did she say something to me and when she said no, I knew how my commitment card would read. I was toatlly blown away by the others who were obedient to God’s voice.
